Every Family. Every Child. Every Time.
Residential Services

Life circumstances should not be life sentences.

Some kids are dealt an unlucky hand, but that should not define them. Show a teenager there is more to life than abuse, pain, hunger, and suffering. Show him or her there is hope.

Become a Bridge Host Home.

A host parent's role is to:

  • provide a safe, stable, temporary home environment for youth, ages 11-17, in need of respite from their current living situation. Placements will typically be for 21 days.
  • work with the Bridge, the youth, and his or her family to facilitate a safe transition to a more permanent home.

Host parents will receive:

  • a modest daily stipend.
  • ongoing training and support.
  • the gratification of knowing YOU made a different in someone's life.

For more information about how to become a Host Home and foster a child, contact Mike Rulnick, Director of Residential Services, at 860.521.6890.
