Family Resource Center (FRC)
The Bridge Family Center, in partnership with West Hartford Public Schools, established the FRC at Charter Oak International Academy to support the healthy development of families in the community.
Children and Families are at the Center of Our Work
The Family Resource Center (FRC) offers a variety of family programs and support services that enhance parenting, promote family involvement with the schools, and help children to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The FRC serves about 1100 children and parents in West Hartford each year.
The FRC currently offers programs throughout the year at the following West Hartford locations:
- Charter Oak International Academy
- Aiken Elementary School
- Wolcott Elementary School
- Webster Hill Elementary School

Parents and Caregivers
We offer a number of programs to help educate, support, and empower you and your family.
Parenting Programs Training & Education Mosaic Parenting Center
Young Children
The FRC offers programs for children (prenatal to five) and their caregivers to support their social, emotional, and cognitive skill development.
School-Age Children
We offer a variety of before and after school programs aimed at the enrichment and support of elementary school-age children.
