Staying the Course -- Celebrating 21 years of the Children's Charity Ball

Our 21st Annual Children's Charity Ball celebrated the defining difference the Bridge Family Center makes in the lives of children, adults, and families in our region. The elegant black-tie evening, was held on Saturday, January 18, 2020, and featured a cocktail reception, dinner, live and silent auctions, and dancing for our 300 guests. Scot Haney, Channel 3 Meteorologist and Co-host of "Better Connecticut" was once again our fantastic emcee, and the energy, creativity, and commitment of our exceptional volunteer committee ensured a memorable evening for all.

With the support of our dedicated sponsors and generous patrons, the Bridge raised necessary funds to maintain and enhance the vitally important programs and services we provide to nearly 9,000 children and families in our communities. Through these funds, we address increasingly serious needs including sex trafficking of minors, child abuse, mental health, family literacy, and so much more.

A very special thanks to our Honorary Chairs, John and Judy Bierly and Paul and Mary Butler. The Bridge is so fortunate to have the unwavering friendship, guidance, support, and devotion of these two couples. Their contributions to the Bridge are many and the significant impact they have had on the children and families we serve is greatly appreciated.
