Deborah Zipkin, the Director of our Family Resource Center, celebrated her 25th anniversary of working at the Bridge in February 2019. Deborah's caring, compassionate and nurturing nature is unparalleled and contributes to strengthening the lives of thousand of families in our community.
She began her career at the Bridge in 1994 as a part-time Parent Educator and shortly thereafter assumed the position of Director of the Family Resource Center. Deborah's strong passion for early childhood education and working with families is evident in every interaction she has with the babies, children, parents and grandparents who participate at the Family Resource Center.
When asked to reflect on her time at the Bridge, she said, "I have had such a great time, doing such great stuff." In her role, she is responsible for the numerous program and services offered through the Family Resource Center. She is a trainer, teacher, published author and a consummate collaborator. Under her direction, the Center was designated as a national model and gained recognition in Working Mother magazine.
